Becky Dodenhoff piled on the pounds with the worry of looking after her sick boyfriend.
Now Ciaran Mahoney is well, he is helping her to shed them.
Becky, 22, from Huyton , admits she has always suffered problems with her weight, but it soared when she was caring for Ciaran who had problems with his heart and eyes.
An ‘emotional eater’, Becky says: “I eat when I’m happy, I eat when I’m sad – and I eat when I’m stressed.
“And though it was clearly more stressful for Ciaran, when he was sick I ate because I was too.
“I have always been a size 16 – but it got to the point when I was pushing to get into a size 22.
